Meet Our Team Doctor
Jennell J. Bockenstedt, O.D.
Dr. Jennell Bockenstedt was raised in Strawberry Point, Iowa. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Northern Iowa. In 2005, Dr. Bockenstedt earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. She did her clinical training at Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Navajo Reservation in Crownpoint, New Mexico, and Omaha Eye and Laser in Omaha, Nebraska.
After graduation, she moved to the Monterey Peninsula. In 2007, she helped to establish Marina Optometric Center, and in 2018, she opened Monterey Optometric Center.
Dr. Bockenstedt has two children, Cole and Jordan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, attending sporting events, and traveling.
